FAQ

Questions we get asked first

If yours isn't here, email us — we answer scoping questions before there's a contract in sight.

How much does a typical project cost?
Most engagements land between $30,000 and $180,000 depending on scope. A focused marketing site or MVP usually starts around $30,000; a full product platform with integrations and a mobile app sits at the upper end. We give you a fixed price after a paid discovery phase, so the number you approve is the number you pay.
How long will it take to launch?
A marketing site takes four to six weeks. An MVP web or mobile product takes ten to sixteen weeks. Larger platforms run three to six months. In every case you get a working, deployable build at the end of each two-week sprint, so you're never waiting until the end to see progress.
Do you work with early-stage startups?
Yes — a large share of our work is pre-seed to Series A. We're used to tight budgets and short runways, and we'll tell you honestly when a smaller scope gets you to the same learning faster.
Who owns the code and designs?
You do, completely, from the first commit. We work in your GitHub organisation and your cloud accounts wherever possible. There are no licence fees, no proprietary frameworks and nothing you need our permission to change.
What happens after launch?
You choose. We can hand the project to your in-house team with documentation and a walkthrough, stay on a monthly retainer for continued development, or provide a lighter support agreement covering bugs and dependency updates.
Can you work with our existing team or codebase?
Often. We regularly join existing engineering teams to add capacity in a specific area, or take over a codebase someone else started. We'll start with a technical audit so we can tell you what we found before we quote the work.
